Mindset, view, attitude, positive thinking, expectation-set, and so on.

There is nothing new here, nothing. But it may be new to you. These are not my ideas, these are axioms or truths, discovered over the centuries. These are not my theories or creations but simply a presentation of known principles. Principles that never change.

But you have to take them in, digest them and come to see the truth in these lessons or they will remain just more words.
I express my heartfelt appreciation here to all those who have taught me, in person and in other ways.

Human beings…

There are a lot of ways to “get things done”, some are better than others. Like many things, the best way probably takes longer to learn. What is to follow may not be the best way, but it is a very good simple technique a method that is powerful and effective and can be presented and learned in a few minutes.

  1. OK, get a piece of paper or your favourite screen tool. Now think of the current major goal or outcome you want. Picture it in your mind. …

So back to the effort of documenting the journey. The “gurus”, experts, wanna-be experts, and so on all seem to agree that this diary thing will contribute to success, so I am pushing on with it.

Someone said something like: you can please all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. …

The fallacy, misunderstanding or misuse of the instruction to “Burn the Boats”

This is something you will hear a lot about on the get-rich-quick and even the get-rich-slower circuit. The basic storyline is attributed to everyone from Captain Hernán Cortés to Julias Ceasar to Sun Tzu, the mythical author of the Art of War. The idea is that if want to accomplish something you must leave yourself no way out, do or die, all or nothing. In the various stories, some general or conquerer is going to take an island or a nation and they get to the enemy shore and then give the order to burn the boats thus cutting off…

There is so much talk about today about success today. Maybe they’re always was. But with the internet, YouTube, Facebook, and the rest of it. It seems that success, wealth, $50,000 a month, must be all that is on anyone’s mind.
But what is success?
It seems it’s not the same for everyone.

Should we all want to make $50,000 a month or feel like a failure? What does success mean to you? In studying any kind of system to achieve goals or milestones for business it seems that is important to know what you want. It seems everyone can…

The secret to wealth

The first part of the secret is that there really is no secret. The supposed secret has been known forever. One way of putting it, is that no one gets something for nothing. Not in the long run at least. The secret to wealth was used as a headline as this seems to be something many people are interested in. I could have said, the secret to having a mediocre life. But, with that have interested any one, probably not.

The longer short story. (day 20)

What is true is I turned 70 years old recently, and have been mostly retired for the past 10 years.
What is also true is I have been getting back into business for about the past three months. I must be crazy!

After many years in business I “retired” to our mortgage-free home on an ocean cove where we docked our 36 foot Catalina Sailboat.

This is a homework assignment. Just a journal more or less of recreating myself and my business after 10 years of semi-retirement inspired when our cruise from the Gulf Coast of Florida to Nova Scotia got cut short by Covid-19 On the advice of Russel Brunson, I will publish something, anything, every day. the suggestion is to start with documenting “the journey,”

I had hoped to have the hole dug and the concrete poured by now, but it seems I am just at the bottom of a hole. I have dug myself into a hole. while that might sound dismal…
